If you’ve ever opened a bag of clay and thought… why is this SO stiff?!? 😅 Here’s my go-to studio trick… I literally pick up the bag, slam it on the ground, rotate it, slam again, rotate, slam… until I’ve hit all sides. This helps wake up and loosen those clay particles without adding water. Our hand-building clay has been extra stiff lately, which is great for building strong forms, but sometimes it’s a little too stiff if you know what I mean 😆 This trick helps make it way more workable.
